Online Counselling Sessions Across Saskatchewan and Canada
(Secure Virtual Therapy for Adults, Seniors, and Late Teens)
Professional Counselling — Wherever You Are
Life doesn’t slow down just because you need support.
Maybe you live outside Saskatoon, travel often, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space.
That’s where online counselling comes in — convenient, secure, and just as effective as in-person sessions.
Through confidential video sessions, you can access the same professional support I provide in person — whether you’re in Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, or anywhere else in Saskatchewan or across Canada.
Online counselling allows you to slow down, reflect, and reconnect — no matter where life takes you.
Why Choose Online Counselling
Online counselling (also called telehealth or virtual therapy) brings professional support to you — no commute, no waiting room, no weather worries.
It’s designed for flexibility and privacy while maintaining the same emotional depth and effectiveness as traditional, in-person sessions.
Benefits include:
Convenience: Attend sessions from home, work, or while traveling.
Accessibility: Ideal for clients in rural or remote areas across Saskatchewan and Canada.
Comfort: Many clients feel more relaxed and open in their own environment.
Consistency: Keep your therapy routine steady, even with a busy schedule.
Discretion and privacy: Perfect for those working through sensitive or highly personal matters who prefer to keep therapy separate from their community or workplace.
For clients living in smaller towns or close-knit communities, this option provides complete confidentiality and distance — giving you a private space to work through anything without concern of being seen or recognized locally.
How Online Counselling Works
Online sessions take place through a secure, encrypted video platform integrated within my Jane App system.
When you book your appointment, you’ll receive an email confirmation with a private link — no software to download, no extra setup.
At your session time, simply click the link and connect from your phone, tablet, or computer.
We’ll meet face-to-face by video, exactly as we would in person.
Everything you share remains completely confidential, protected by the same professional and ethical standards that govern in-person counselling.
What to Expect in a Session
Each online session offers the same grounded, compassionate experience as sitting across from me in the office:
We begin with a check-in to see how you’ve been feeling since our last session.
We explore what’s showing up for you — thoughts, emotions, or challenges.
I guide reflection and help identify underlying patterns.
You’ll leave with clear tools and insights you can apply right away.
You can choose between 50-minute or 75-minute sessions, depending on your needs and goals.
Creating Your Online Space
A calm, private setting helps you get the most out of online counselling.
Find a quiet spot, silence notifications, and settle in with a cup of tea or water. Some clients like to light a candle, wear headphones, or have a journal nearby for notes or reflection.
This small act of intention signals to your mind and body: “This time is for me.”
Even through a screen, clients often describe feeling deeply connected, supported, and safe.
Who Online Counselling Is For
Online counselling is ideal for:
Adults living outside Saskatoon or in rural Saskatchewan communities
Canadians across other provinces who prefer virtual sessions
Professionals, parents, or shift workers needing flexibility
Individuals who feel more comfortable opening up from home
People working through highly personal or sensitive issues who want extra privacy and discretion
For many, online counselling is a chance to seek help completely away from their immediate surroundings — a private, judgment-free space to explore what’s been kept inside.
What You Can Work On in Online Counselling
The same presenting issues I help with in person are available online, including:
Anxiety & chronic stress
Depression & low mood
Grief & loss
Trauma & PTSD
Relationship & boundary issues
Self-esteem & confidence
ADHD & emotional regulation
Life transitions & workplace stress
No matter the topic, online counselling provides a safe, focused environment to work through it — from the comfort of your own space.
The Research on Effectiveness
Research consistently shows that online counselling is just as effective as in-person therapy for most mental health concerns.
Clients often report equal levels of satisfaction, trust, and connection — and many find it easier to be consistent when it fits naturally into their lifestyle.
For some, the added privacy of online sessions even makes it easier to open up.
Rates and Insurance Coverage
Online sessions are offered at the same rates as in-person:
50-minute sessions – $140
75-minute sessions – $200
All sessions include tax and are covered by most major insurance providers that recognize Registered Professional Counsellors (RPC).
Receipts are provided after each session for reimbursement.
If you’re unsure whether your insurance covers online counselling, I can help you check before you begin.
Technical Support & Confidentiality
Your privacy is protected at every step.
The Jane App platform is fully encrypted and compliant with Canadian privacy standards (PIPEDA, PHIPA, and HIPAA).
No sessions are recorded or stored. Your information remains entirely confidential and secure.
If a technical issue arises, we can easily continue the session by phone to ensure your time is never lost.
Why Work With Me
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the trades and grew up on a Saskatchewan farm — experiences that taught me grit, perspective, and the importance of connection.
I understand how personal, emotional, or private some struggles can be — and the relief that comes from finding someone you can talk to safely, without judgment.
Now, as a Registered Professional Counsellor, I combine professional training with real-world understanding to help clients across Canada build emotional strength, clarity, and calm — wherever they are.
Taking the Next Step
If you’re ready to begin counselling — or just want to see if it feels right — I invite you to book a free 20-minute discovery call.
It’s a relaxed conversation where you can ask questions and see if online counselling fits your needs.
Distance doesn’t have to be a barrier to healing, growth, or change.
You deserve support that meets you where you are — literally.
